The event organized by the Pays de Vitré Tourist Office is not renewed in 2024.
The latter open the doors of their farm to you in order to make you discover their activity, their know-how and to share their passion.
See you every Wednesday in July and August with family or friends!

Thanks to the Visits to the Producers, we invite you to dive into the universe of our producers, who are delighted to make you discover their passion and their know-how.

Every Wednesday in July and August, the Pays de Vitré Tourist Office offers you a time to meet and discover local products.

Participating local producers from the Pays de Vitré & elsewhere:

• Azalane : visit of the donkey farm, presentation of the profession and milking of donkeys followed by a tasting.
• La Old Hop Brewery : discovery of the beer production process, from brewing to bottling, followed by a tasting.
• La Meadows of the Chevrie : General explanations on livestock management, technical areas for feeding. Followed by the visit of the different rooms: from the birth of the piglet to its 100 kilos. Possibility to visit the educational garden (goats, beehive, orchard, meadow etc…) and to taste and buy honey from the farm.
• Le GAEC Chavrot : visit to a goat farm and discovery of cheese making, followed by a tasting.
• Donkey Stories : visit of the donkey farm, and discovery of farm animals. Presentation of the trade and milking of donkeys followed by a tasting.
• The Pear trees under Geslin : visit and presentation of the farm with breeding and market gardening in biodynamics.
• La Bien Boire micro-brewery in Brittany : Visit and presentation of the micro-brewery. Explanation of the manufacturing process followed by a tasting.
• La La Demi-Lune vegetable farm : Come and discover the market gardening farm La Demi-Lune, you will learn the techniques of diversified organic market gardening.
• THESorbet Tree : this fruit farm in Moulins, grows fruit in organic farming and transforms part of it into sorbet. Visit his orchard next, a presentation of sorbets!

The new ones:

• La Arb'Envie nursery : Come and learn and discover the nursery, which since 2022 has been producing fruit trees and shrubs of old varieties carefully selected for their hardiness and their adaptation to Brittany and climate change.
• With Little Onions : Visit of the vegetable farm in organic farming. Presentation of sowing, greenhouse production (tomato, aubergine, cucumber, pepper…) and field production (zucchini, potato, onions, salad…).
• Hyssop Farm : You will discover the cultivation of hops and about forty aromatic plants under the Agriculture Biologique label. Visit of the hops and plots of medicinal plants. Presentation of the processing workshop and dryer.
• The Ani'mots Farm: This visit will allow you to discover the farm animals, to raise your awareness of animal welfare, to pet and feed the animals.
• La Maxsopolo Farm : The GAEC opens the doors to them to make you discover their farming profession and give everyone the opportunity to live this experience.

These Visits to Producers are organized by the Pays de Vitré Tourist Office in collaboration with the producers participating in this new edition.

At the end of some visits, you can buy local products in the farm shop.
