Hello Regalante!
The name of this new cycle route through the Portes de Bretagne is a “subtle mixture of the terms galette and galante which generates a warm and delicious word” inviting cyclists and cycle tourists but also families to feast on the route. All along, it is marked by a remarkable heritage and imposing castles like the Castle of Vitré.

A 275 km journey to the heart of the Marches de Bretagne and their history :
Driving through the heart of the historic Marches de Bretagne region, the cycle route n°9 crosses from north to south four cities of Art and History® : Fougères, Vitreous, Chateaubriant, Nantes, without forgetting the Mont St. Michel. This itinerary opens the door to the discovery of castles, medieval fortresses, picturesque markets, half-timbered houses... but also a total reconnection to nature in celebration.
