Place called Ribert, 35500 Montreuil-sous-Pérouse

As part of the 150th anniversary of the completion of the railway line to Mont-Saint-Michel, discover the photographic exhibition "On the way to Cantache".

It all started during a creation residency at the artothèque of Vitré Communauté: the artists Élodie Guignard and Dominique Delpoux were then invited to carry out a photographic work with, as models, local residents and users of the Vitré-Fougères greenway, formerly a railway linking Vitré to Moidrey. These walkers met on the spot, used to the place or not, lend themselves to the game and pose according to the staging imagined by the photographers.

Sixty-six prints, including sixty-four documentary and staged portraits, will be installed from April 2022 on the part of the greenway, located north of Vitré to Châtillon-en-Vendelais (13,5 km) and along the Cantache stream, which gives its name to the exhibition. Installed outside until December, these photographs will punctuate the promenade with the natural environment changing with the seasons.

Exhibition visible along the Vitré-Fougères Greenway, between Montreuil-sous-Pérouse and Châtillon-en-Vendelais & near the Cantache lake.
