From March 15 to August 30, 2024, the Maison des Cultures du Monde welcomes Et v'là l'bout! - Traditional songs and music in Upper Brittany, an exhibition designed by La Granjagoul with contributions from Dastum and La Bouèze.

Violin, hurdy-gurdy and veuze are out! The stories and photographs, local figures and sound extracts tell the story of the traditional music of Upper Brittany. Come (re)discover this oral heritage, play a piece or hum a tune with us!

The exhibition is organized into sections, one dedicated to songs and the other to musical instruments. Each center is made up of explanatory panels, presenting the history of the instrument or song concerned, a space for listening and consulting documents and visuals. Finally, a cultural mediation program including tools and supports to prepare your visit, visits for different school cycles, visits adapted and adaptable to all types of groups, meetings for all audiences, workshops for children, interventions, will be developed and hosted in partnership with Granjagoul, Bouèze and the Maison des Cultures du Monde.
