Appointment is made for the European Heritage Days on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September for a visit to the Notre-Dame church in La Vitré.

On the foundations of a Romanesque church founded in the XNUMXth century by Baron Robert I, the Notre-Dame church was rebuilt from the middle of the XNUMXth century.
Built in a flamboyant Gothic style, the south-east façade retains its exterior preaching pulpit, of which few examples still exist. Affixing their marks to the walls and decorations of the church, the Overseas merchants, wealthy cloth merchants emblematic of the city, made it the reflection of their prosperity.

Slot every 45 minutes for visiting the church, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and 14 p.m. to 18 p.m., as well as Sunday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.
