The City of Art and History Service and the Heritage Service of the City of Vitré invite you to discover a part of medieval life, through the reconstruction of one of the medieval war machines, erected at the foot of the Tower. de la Fresnaye, in the courtyard of the Château de Vitré.
In the heart of the medieval fortress, learn to shoot with a trebuchet, one of the most powerful throwing machines of the Middle Ages! This attack machine used to destroy the walls is aptly named since in Occitan it means "who brings trouble".
After that, the siege of a castle will have no more secrets for you!
