As part of the Thélème cultural season, culture in the countryside at the Château des Bretonnières in Erbrée.

Don't judge women, listen to them. A committed statement on the intimacy of women,
on a taboo in our society. An adaptation of Martin Winckler's best-seller.

Between Saint-Malo and the Avignon festival, the Women's Choir, a new creation from the Actes Uniques company, stops at Thélème.
“The Women's Choir” tells the story of a young medical intern, already formatted by the faculty and who suddenly has to revise her prejudices. A story that describes women's medicine, its complexity, its pitfalls and its ethical questions. A choral piece that gives women a voice, without taboos.
“If I bring The Women's Choir to the stage today, it is to highlight a taboo in our society. While women are finally speaking out to denounce harassment or incest, gynecology is accompanied by many preconceived ideas and taboos – from the pill that makes you gain weight to obstetric violence, including pregnancies after 40 and abortions. which make them sterile.
Reading this novel was a shock for me. Putting words on suffering or practices that I myself had undergone, which had to be silenced or thought of as normal, disturbed me, challenged me. And I wanted to share it. »
