“The foam of the days” (Boris Vian), Compagnie Les Joues Rouges | Château des Bretonnières

As part of the Thélème cultural season, culture in the countryside at the Château des Bretonnières in Erbrée.

More than 200 dates in Paris and unanimous national press for a colorful and crazy show, brilliantly adapted from L'Écume des jours. In July, things swing in Thélème.

L'Écume des Jours translates a call to life, a cry of youth, in this shortened space-time where hearts can stop beating overnight. In this story, souls imbued with youth, madness and ideals come to life: Colin, Chloé, Chick, Alise, Nicolas and Isis who fight against the outside world full of threats and dangers. At the end, only the last petals remain, only the fine foam of the great torrent of life, this foam, this world which is only a theater stage, where love plays the main role.

Modern text, musical adaptation, songs by Boris Vian, pianist at his Pianocktail, mix of styles, jazz, classical or rap, decor with futuristic aesthetics and visual projection, Les Joues Rouges seizes a world to create a whirlwind of colors in their image.
