Step 1
Start of variant 1: A nice outing for nature and walking lovers! Located a stone's throw from the city centre, this new natural space of more than ten hectares offers the ideal opportunity to take a beautiful family walk, to observe fauna and flora in full reconquest and to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Step 2
On the old Vitré-Chateaubriant railway line. This served the two municipalities from 1875 to around 1950, with a passenger and freight station at La Guerche and a station located in the forest of La Guerche in Rannée. The rails and the ballast have disappeared to give way to a dirt road about 700 m long. The only witness: a massive granite bridge, which is accessed by a small path, and which, in an unusual way, connects two fields...

A visit to the church (XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries) is worth the detour. The north facade (XNUMXth century) holds the attention with a decoration of kale, heads, gargoyles and effigies including those of Saint-Crépin and Saint-Crépinien (patron saints of shoemakers) on each side of the Renaissance door.
